Voting in Finniss

The state election for SA Parliament is being held on Saturday 21 March, 2026. 

​

However, you don't have to wait until election day to cast your ballot. Postal votes, telephone voting and early voting is available.

Key dates

Saturday 14 March then Monday 16 - Friday 20 March.

Early voting period.

There is one location for the Early Voting Centre:

Victor Harbor Recreation Centre

5 George Main Rd, Victor Harbor

 

​​You no longer need a reason to vote early.

Monday 23 - Friday 27 February

Nominations for candidates open. Independents can nominate until Monday 2 March.

Wednesday 18 March

Media blackout for broadcasters starts at the end of the day until after polling ends.

Monday 2 March

Ballot draw for ticket occurs in Port Elliot.

Saturday 21 March

Election day.
Polls open 8am - 6pm.
