The state election for SA Parliament is being held on Saturday 21 March, 2026.

However, you don't have to wait until election day to cast your ballot. Postal votes, telephone voting and early voting is available.

Nominations for candidates open. Independents can nominate until Monday 2 March.
Wednesday 18 March
Media blackout for broadcasters starts at the end of the day until after polling ends.
Monday 2 March
Ballot draw for ticket occurs in Port Elliot.
Saturday 21 March
Election day.
Polls open 8am - 6pm.
